Pitch Black: Be on the Lookout

Your opportunity to support one of many positive movements for Chicago’s youth takes place on Saturday, May 19, 2018, from Noon until 3:00 P.M at mHub! The second annual Gray Matter Pitch Black Student Pitch Competition provides six student groups an opportunity to present their business and gain valuable feedback for a chance to win a portion of $20,000 in seed funding and additional prizes.

Gray Matter Experience was founded by tech professional and children’s book author, Britney Robbins.  One of five investees for Goodcity Chicago’s Women’s Innovation Fund, Britney is undoubtedly helping to change the narrative about young African-American men and women, one book, idea, and business at a time.

Pitch Black marks one major step forward in entrepreneurship for the second cohort of Gray Matter Experience. But it will not be the last. Be on the lookout for Absolute Black, Chicago Based, Purpose App, Food for Thought, Chi-Chic, and Kids Going Out (KGO) in your app store or on the cover of your favorite business journal/magazine someday soon.

Grab your tickets and spread the word!
